Pastels have really come back in a BIG way! Every where I look this trend seems to be staying put. It must be the fresh, airy feel about wearing a paler colour that makes you feel relaxed and that you are constantly on holiday. Unfortunately Australia is one season behind, so we won’t truly enjoy the pastel shades until Spring/Summer 2012.
Lime Crime is following up with this trend in their new pressed eyeshadow palette, Palette D’Antoinette. Inspired by the late French Queen, Marie Antoinette. It comes in 5 delicious pastel hues (reminds me of sweet, soft macaroons), with their own unique name that blend luxuriously together:
Royal Flush (Pastel Pink Matte)
Absinthe-Minded (Pistachio Matte)
Macarooned (Peach Matte)
Ribbonesque (Lavender Matte)
The palette is vegan friendly and cruelty free. It comes in a signature Lime Crime purple tin case. It will be sold for $34.99 on the 1st of May. If it gains popularity like the China Doll palette, it will be sold out before you know it! So get in early to nab your own Palette D’Antoinette.
How will you be wearing pastels this Spring/Summer 2012?
